Additional Needs is a topic that has been addressed by the Fellowship of NA since 1986. It started with a group of people, many who were disabled, who realized that many addicts to include themselves were not able to access meetings due to disabilities of a vision, hearing and a physical nature. After much ground work, a WSC Additional Needs Committee was created.
